The Run
November 1st was the Sashiki Shohashi Marathon - 20k.
From TCJ - Tetsuya, Ryuichi, Takashi; Ran - All three were able to make the time limit. Hallelujah... Doing it for the second time
Tetsuya wanted to have an additional challenge for this race he decided to run with a cross. It was a challenge indeed. Tetsuya latter told me that during the run even at the warm up stage his thought went back and forth from weather to run with the cross or not. The reason being it was quit big and rather heavy than what he imagine...The decision was made he started to run the cross got heavier and heavier as the kilometer increased. On occasion he tought of leaving the cross at the water point...some (Obachan) older ladies told Tetsu to leave the cross with them so he can run the race. The battle of the mind... yes it was his decision to do it but like many of us we start some thing and at time is not able to see it to completion.
The battle of the mind is so real...Tetsu did finish the race with the cross time limit being 3 hours and 15 minutes. Tetsu came in 3 hours and 14min...to do some thing to the end bringing it to a finish. overcoming doubt Pressing on...
Good job Tetsu. Ryuichi, Takashi

Ministering to each other.
Druing our intense 3 day gospel key chain seminar. Beloved Brothers and Sisters from not only Okinawa but Korea can to share a gospel dance and worship time .The ladies dressed up in there traditional out fit and brought color to the predominate Boys club of TCJ. The Pastor is Part of Yoido Full Gospel Church in Korea and is ministering the branch Church in Ginowan.
The Pastor brought forth strong words of encouragement to send out the students to lift the name of Jesus in Sashiki.
Sent by God
TCJ has been getting a lot of visitors. The boys are happy to see new and old faces come to give encouragement. Pastor Meilee (Paradise Church) is a good friend from way back. she helped me get into TC Hawaii. Megu on her left is a returnee from the main island of Japan she is a cool person to know she is very Computer literate and speaks her mind frankly not many of those around me at the moment so it is very refreshing to have good sisters in the Lord to talk to. The two ladies came by to say Hi but TCJ was in big need of such people like them God sends people to fill the need of ministry was the lesson I learned this day.
Prep for SoGo
The ladies under the banner are Sister Mami from Kadena AoG she is the leader for a new group called SoGo to her right is her good friend and sister in the Lord Sister Suzuka(Praise Church AoG).
They are both leaders in there own churches- Youth /Children's Ministry...They have a burden for the youth of Okinawa.
In the month of July they asked TCJ to do a drug awareness /prevention seminar. the turn out was great and the boys did good in giving testimony and sharing the message of hope.
In preparation for one on one evangelism SoGo invited Sister Fujita to share a gospel key chain seminar. TCJ was the chosen venue and we had a great 3day crash course in preparation for the streets. SoGo is out on Kokusai street every friday from 2100-2400 reaching the night kids of Okinawa. If you are in the area please stop by and give support.

Stop Drugs
TCJ had a great turn out. 60 people showed up to hear about the danger of drug addiction and the many other life controlling problems Masaki spoke on gambling..Tetsuya spoke on Drugs..Simon spoke on Alcohol and I spoke on how to help those struggling with such problems.. This was the first educational meeting TCJ was part of in Okinawa.
Many of the local church ministers were present to hear the Goodness of God's second chances but also a glimpse of hope to the ministers ministering the hard to love...
