Thank you

Thanks to all the support and Prayers Teen Challenge Okinawa is headed to Iwate on a relief mission.
Michael my brother is joining and will be a first family effort in helping the people in need.
Osamu who just completed his 2nd phase has pleaded to spend his 3rd phase time in the disaster area to help out ...Ryota who also just completed the 3rd phase of the program is heading into Iwate as part of his training and hopefully a time to gain a new perspective on life and a life in Christ...

Tsunami & Earthquake

2011 March 11th was a day of panic and fear that shook the coast line of upper Tokyo; Called the Tohoku...From Chiba, Fukushima, Sendai, Iwate. So many people lost their lives and is still missing and the destruction is beyond description.
Me and Shingo by the grace of God and the help of Rev.Chad Hammond was able to make it into Sendai on the 18th of March 2011  The work begins...After the help of the US Military and the joint forces with the JSDF Sendai airport was open for emergency airlift relief work...Sendai airport was washed away by the Tsunami and had sever piles of debris but by the 20th of March Samaritans purse was already bringing goods in from Carolina. Praise the Lord for faithful servant's that are aways on stand by.
Shingo and I have been working at the warehouse for distribution and partnership with Izumi Fukuin Chapel which allowed us to stay and made the work all possible and spiritual...Morning devotion was the pivotal point in doing any work in the Lord... Pastor Ito and the church member despite there own damages stood strong for the people who were doing without.
Please Remember Japan in your Prayers...

Simon gave the intro and Masaki gave the day to day activities. afterward Simon and Tetsuya took the students on a extra field trip to a cave near by which is an historical site.

As loud as we can


TCJ had an opportunity to share and bless the group home in tomigusuku .
Brother Masaki had spent 6 month of training as a health care provider  there.
T C Boys love to sing loud and this was one place where we were appreciated for our loudness...

Marathon



Okinawa Marathon (42.195 km)  Tetsuya -TC Staff...  Shingo-TC Student leader..Ryota upper classman. all ran a good race. TCJ loves to take things to the extreme... In Corinthians Paul mentions a race a marathon the boys are quick to apply it in there own lives ...A request was made and the approval was given all that was left was the battle of the will and mind...the 3 will give a brief testimony in how the running of a race has opened there eyes to yet another factor in the changed lives in Christ....Thank you Jesus for seeing them through...mind you they are all still hurting please keep them in your prayers.

Bill Wilson Service


TCJ had an oppertunity to help out with the Bil wilson service in Febuary the boys did a great job makeing and putting up posters all over Okinawa city as well as being a parking attendent.  Good Job guys.

Teen Challenge Japan always begin the new year with a Mt.climb its a refreshing factor in seeing the awesomness of God in all that he created ...How he considered man.

Completion


Osamu (top) completed 1st phase and has begun the second phase of TCJ program.
Ryota (bottom) completed 2nd phase and has begum the 3rd phase of the TCJ program.
One phase consist of 3 month worth of Bible application studies and assessment by staff.
It's no easy task but the boy's are determined to change thier lives for the better and the best way of living is in Christ.

Mission

Missionary of old had made there way to Macau and hong kong build churches and help spread the gospel.
Years latter we are still at awe of the history and the work they have started and passed along to those who visit...The Gospel must still be shared and the work is still at hand. May we do our part to keep the passion fllowing to the now gerneration as well as to the next.

Loads of people went forward to receive Christ as there Savior. God is so good he is working in Osaka.

Brother Ryota has successfully completed all the requirement for 1st phase and passed with flying colors.
